Throughout Richard’s career he has had opportunities to work on individual pieces and series of pieces of a “Fine Art” nature - art for art’s sake. These pieces were done for framing and hanging as decorative art. Fine Art Prints. Artwork for calendars. Home Decor. For example, the painting of the 9th green that hangs in the Clubhouse at the Longaberger Golf Club.

Nature has always been a favorite subject in Richard's artwork. He has produced prints for Executive Galleries, World Wildlife Fund, Longaberger Golf Club, Penny Lane Publishing, Class IV River Runners, and Dawes Arboretum and all reflect the love he has for God’s awesome creations. From sprawling landscapes to intimate portraits of animals, Richard aims to inspire!

Occasionally the opportunity has come along for Richard to paint for individuals. The perfect painting to complement a living room. The meaningful anniversary gift painting of an Irish shore. A portrait of a cherished family pet. A beloved vacation cottage on the lake. Richard works with his clients, discussing choice of content, color scheme, even media. His client is the Art Director!
